Assembly election 2022: Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal nominated advocate Amit Palekar the party’s CM face for the Goa Assembly polls today. Meanwhile, Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav joined the BJP. Assembly polls in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa will be held in a single phase on February 14 while voting in Manipur will be held in two phases on February 27 and March 3. Uttar Pradesh will vote in seven phases to elect 403 MLAs between February 10 and March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
