Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Tuesday released part two of BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, and said that the party’s manifesto is going to develop Delhi.
In order to woo the voters, the BJP has announced Rs 10 lakh of life insurance and Rs 5 lakh of accident cover to domestic helps. They also said that they will set-up welfare board for domestic workers, and added that they will also be getting six-months paid maternity leave. As per their mainfesto, scholarship will be privided to their children.
The party has also announced that they will provide the needy students with free education from KG to PG in government educational institutions. Anurag Thakur, while addressing at the launch of party’s manifesto said, “Once our government is formed, we will provide financial assistance of Rs. ₹ 15,000 to the youth of Delhi for preparing for competitive exams and will also reimburse two-time travel and application fees.”
Under the ‘Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Stipend Scheme’, BJP, in their manifesto said that the Scheduled Caste students will be given a stipend of ₹ 1,000 per month for pursuing technical and professional courses.
Apart from this, BJP will also form a welfare board for auto taxi drivers, provide life insurance of Rs 10 lakh, accident insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh and scholarship for their children.
In their manifesto, BJP stated that they will adopt a zero tolerance policy on corruption. Talking about the scams mentioned in the CAG report, the party has stated that they will investigate the scams committed by the AAP.
