Assembly Elections 2022 Latest Updates: The Congress will hold a virtual meeting of its central election committee on Monday to select candidates for the Goa Assembly election. Meanwhile, Harak Singh Rawat, who was dismissed from the Uttarakhand government and the BJP, is likely to join the Congress on Monday in the presence of Harish Rawat and other senior party leaders. Assembly polls in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa will be held in a single phase on February 14 while voting in Manipur will be held in two phases on February 27 and March 3. Uttar Pradesh will vote in seven phases to elect 403 MLAs between February 10 and March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
