‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’ Actor Vibhu Raghave Dies At 37 After Battling Cancer

Television actor Vibhu Raghave, widely recognised for his role in ‘Nisha Aur Uske Cousins’, has passed away after a prolonged battle with stage four colon cancer.

The actor, whose real name was Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, breathed his last in Mumbai on June 2. He had been undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.

Vibhu was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2022. His close friends, including Addite Malik and Saumya Tandon, confirmed the news of his passing and shared details of his funeral. The antim darshan is scheduled for June 3 from 12:30 PM onwards, followed by a funeral procession starting at 1 PM from 11, Relief Road, Prakash Nagar Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai.

Sharing an emotional tribute on her Instagram Story, Addite Malik wrote, “The purest soul, a beacon of strength & positivity. His smile could light up any room & his presence alone made everything feel better. He faced life with unmatched grace & left behind a love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed. Always.”

Actor Simple Kaul also paid tribute by posting a picture of Vibhu on her Instagram Story with the message, “You will be missed my dear friend @vibhuzinsta (heart emoji) Love light and happiness to you.”

Meanwhile, Karan Veer Mehra wrote, “Rest in peace brother (broken heart emoji) Too soon.”

Who Was Vibhu Raghave?

A well-known face in the television industry, Vibhu had acted in popular shows such as Nisha Aur Uske Cousins and Savdhaan India. Even during his cancer treatment, Vibhu kept in touch with his fans via Instagram. He is survived by his mother, brother, and sister.

His close friends and colleagues had made several appeals on social media to raise funds for his treatment. The most recent crowdfunding effort was posted on May 27 by Simple Kaul, Addite Malik, and others.
