Pope Francis, the first Latin American leader of the Roman Catholic Church, passed away at the age of 88 on Monday at his residence in the Vatican’s Casa Santa Marta, the Vatican said on Monday.
A day before, on Easter morning at around 11:30 AM, Pope Francis held a brief private meeting with US Vice President JD (James David) Vance at the Casa Santa Marta.
