‘Lakh Di Laanat Tere Kamran Akmal’: Harbhajan Singh Bashes Former Pakistan Keeper For Offensive ‘Sikh’ Remarks

Former Indian legend Harbhajan Singh has bashed former Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal, after the latter’s pathetic and offensive ‘Sikh’ remarks on a TV Show. During the show ‘Bara Muqabla’ on Ary News, Kamran Akmal passed derogatory remarks on Arshdeep Singh during the India Vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 Group A fixture, as he called the decision of giving Indian left-arm pacer the match-deciding 20th over as ‘not wise’ due to him being a ‘Sikh’, thereby, sparking controversy with an offensive religious statement.

“Kuch bhi ho sakta hai,12 baj gaye hai,” said Kamran Akmal on-air.

“Kisi Sikh ko nahi dena chahiye 12 baje over,” said another guest, who added fuel to the fire by joining Kamran Akmal in passing derogatory remarks on Arshdeep Singh.

The clip had gone viral and Kamran Akmal received bashing from all over the world, and Harbhajan Singh came into the picture with his reply to the clip on his official ‘X’ account.

“I deeply regret my recent comments and sincerely apologize to Harbhajan Singh and the Sikh community. My words were inappropriate and disrespectful. I have the utmost respect for Sikhs all over the world and never intended to hurt anyone. I am truly sorry,” siad Kamran Akmal via his official ‘X’ account.
