Delhi Mundka Fire News Today Live Updates 14 May, Delhi Fire News: The Delhi Police has arrested the owners of Cofe Impex Pvt Ltd, which manufactures CCTV cameras, since it was the office of Cofe Impex where the fire broke out.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with Deputy CM Manish Sisodia Saturday reached the site where a four-storey building was gutted in a massive fire on Friday near the Mundka metro station in New Delhi. Speaking to the media, Kejriwal announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the kin of deceased, and Rs 50,000 for those who have been injured. The chief minister also ordered for a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
A National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team is currently carrying out a search and rescue operation at the site, that killed at least 27 people. Out of the 27 bodies, the Delhi police has now identified six bodies. With rescue operations still underway, the death toll is likely to go up, Delhi Fire Services Chief Atul Garg said.
