Gurgaon:
One person was killed and several people were feared trapped after the roof of a residential high-rise in Gurgaon’s Sector 109 collapsed on Thursday night. The living room in an apartment of the 18-floor Chintels Paradiso housing complex first came down, triggering the collapse of roofs and floors directly under it, news agency PTI reported.
A couple- Mr and Mrs Srivastava- is still stuck in the rubble, Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav said adding that only Mr Srivastava’s leg is still stuck. He is being treated for injuries as his leg is being pulled out and is expected to make a recovery, Mr Yadav apprised.
