Maharashtra schools are set to reopen in many districts from tomorrow, January 24. State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced to reopen all schools for Class 1 to 12 followed by an announcement by Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. The final decision to reopen schools will be taken by the local authorities like district collectors considering the COVID-19 cases in their districts.
Schools in Pune are not going to open this week and the decision on reopening of schools will be taken after a review meeting next week, said Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday. Mumbai Schools are set to reopen from January 24
