Assembly Elections 2022 LIVE: The BJP will hold a meeting today in Delhi to discuss candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttarakhand and Goa. BJP president JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with state chief ministers, will attend the meeing. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party has time till today evening to submit its reply to the Election Commission over organising a public rally and violating Covid-19 norms. Assembly polls in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa will be held in a single phase on February 14 while voting in Manipur will be held in two phases on February 27 and March 3. Uttar Pradesh will vote in seven phases to elect 403 MLAs between February 10 and March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
