Haryana shuts cinema halls, sports complexes in 5 districts amid surge in Covid cases

Amid rising Covid-19 cases and the emergence of the Omicron variant, the Haryana government on Saturday announced fresh restrictions in five districts from January 2 till January 12.

The restrictions will be imposed in Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ambala, Panchkula and Sonipat districts. According to the guidelines issued by the state government, cinema halls, swimming and sports complexes will be closed in the five districts.
