In his December 23 order in a bail plea, Justice Yadav not only called on the Allahabad High Court administration to reduce the number of cases heard in each courtroom, but also suggested that the Election Commission and the Indian government should consider banning political rallies and postponing the UP Assembly election due to the Covid threat.
