‘Formed Alliance For Andhra’s Welfare, Going To Attend NDA Meeting In Delhi’: TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu
Amid speculation about Chandrababu Naidu’s support for either the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) or the I.N.D.I.A bloc ahead of government formation, the TDP chief has confirmed his attendance at the NDA meeting in Delhi on Wednesday. With the BJP falling short of a majority in the Lok Sabha, reliance on NDA allies has become crucial for forming the government at the Centre. In this scenario, Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar along with TDP’s Chandrababu Naidu have emerged as influential kingmakers.
Ahead of leaving for Delhi, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu held a press meeting in Vijayawada. During the address, Chandrababu Naidu stated, “An alliance has been formed for the welfare and development of the state. A significant 55.38% of votes were cast, with the TDP securing 45% and the YSRCP securing 39%. Many TDP activists have faced sleepless nights and have been tortured.”
“Even media was obstructed in the state, and CID cases were lodged against media houses,” he recalled. .
